Exploring the experiences of the art world through the lens of Black artists

The arts are a meeting place of many threads of human existence. The creative hub of what is both social and political, individual and collective, and a microcosm of the world at large. In the last two years arts spaces have collectively turned their gaze inwards to consider their role in anti-racism. Does experience of the arts as informative, magical, controversial and entertaining detract us from the reality of who gets funding, whose work is recognised and applauded? Hosted by brap and our guests who are deeply embedded in the arts world, we grapple with the challenges of accountability in the arts.
